Now that this app hides literally everything it's useless.

You can thank the OEMC for that. They made the decision to start encrypting Chicago PD's scanner feeds last year. Later they decided to decrypt most of the scanner feeds but on a 30 minute delay and only after they'd been edited. 🙄 Citizen can only do so much with CPD's lack of transparency.

You can also blame capitalism. This was an informational app built to inform and share details with citizens nearby. Now they make you pay to see literally any information.

Yep. But you can access the police scanner for free on broadcastify and many other apps find out your district and what zone you're on and boom you got access
