27 Injured in Wreck After Double-Decker Bus Driver Ran Red Light, Collided With MTA Bus

As of 1 a.m., official sources state that 27 people were injured in the wreck after the driver of a double-decker tour bus ran a red light and collided with an MTA bus. All of the injuries have been deemed to not be life-threatening.
A news article by NBC New York reports 18 victims were rushed to local hospitals. A total of 81 people were evaluated by first responders.
Paramedics on the scene say two people with serious injuries are being transported to a local hospital. There are reportedly 55 to 60 people injured and being treated by paramedics.
