I live in the building across the street and saw a man profusely bleeding from his head receive CPR before being taken away. He appeared unresponsive, incredibly heartbreaking and tragic
Terrible incident. Right down from the 013th NYPD Precinct. NYC is still tops when it comes to NYPD and EMS Response to incidents like this. Bellevue is an excellent hospital for trauma. Not all USA 🇺🇸 cities have outstanding response teams like this. RIP to the departed and quick recovery to the injured.
When I turn I always SLOW DOWN. TRYING TO BEAT TO BEAT THE LIGHT WILL ALWAYS GET YOU IN A ACCIDENT. That car is on the sidewalk so those pedestrians never had a chance.
Yeah. Everyone rushing to blame the bikes when obviously car was speeding if he's jumped the curve that badly.
Yall blaming everyone but the driver or saying let's waiting for the facts need to look at the picture of the front of the car. It's completely messed up. Meaning the car was significantly going above the 20mph speed limit. Even if the ebike did an illegal traffic move, the car going above the speed limit made things much more by not having time to react and making the collision much more deadly.
@Ssup21 Exactly
