According to several reports the peacock, nicknamed Raul by local New Yorkers, safely returned home to the Bronx Zoo after spending the night perched in a nearby tree.
Despite being mostly flightless, the bird managed to get some air and a Citizen user shared video of it perched in a tree. Do no approach the wild animal, it already has bitten one person. Go live from a safe distance!
