Driving is a problem in our neighborhood its very obvious that certain ppl have been driving under the influence some illegally and large amounts who bought their licenses... more needs to be done to keep these ppl off the streets
I HATE DRIVING MY CAR TO 18th AVE!TOO MANY DOUBLE PARK ARE THERE!
@bensonhurst12345 not especially that block, I l would like to said that ESPECIALLY THE WHOLE 18 AVE!
It has nothing to do with cars being double parked. The pedestrian signal pole got knocked down so there was obviously speeding involved.
BENSONHURST, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Two people were killed and five were injured after a car crashed and jumped a curb before going onto a sidewalk in Brooklyn on Monday afternoon. The crash was reported at 6401 18th Ave just before 1 p.m. Officials say the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver ran a red light and struck multiple vehicles and multiple pedestrians. The FDNY said there was a total of seven patients including the two who were killed. The sedan came to a stop when it struck a light pole. The driver is in custody. Police are investigating whether or not the driver was under the influence. DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!!!!
