Summary

A man was fatally shot in Tremont Wednesday evening, officials said.

At around 5:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting at 273 E. 176th Street.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 21-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the torso.

According to the NYPD, the victim was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Tired of being tired of the killing of our babies out here, but then again it’s some of these babies with extremely broken homes committing these horrible crimes. Prayers to the family. Jesus weeps.

@spirituall I work on West Tremont and morris Avenue for 19 years an a baby was shot in a car seat in a minivan on Easter 🐣 Sunday right in front of the parents a little off the concourse: this was 10 years ago: same S but now there are more guns … you look at someone the wrong way and it’s caps flying everywhere

And then people get mad when they gentrify the bad areas. The whole Bronx should be gentrified, and then crime would go down.
