Everyone is driving with disregard for stop signs and basic traffic laws. From trucks to bikes. Scoots are a great way to get around a city. The police neglect enforcement, and people driving act like traffic lights are a suggestion. As someone with a 200cc vespa and a car, I can tell you cars and scooters both act like idiots in NYC. People here are sadly dismissive to other drivers , and it shows in one of the highest fatality rates in the world for pedestrians.
@jMCS yes honestly, everyone needs to drive with regard to others and law. It doesn’t matter what type of vehicle you drive.
Someone just died - save the judgement. May they RIP.
You have to be willfully ignorant to believe that these scooters don't ride recklessly throughout this city. You can stand on any major street and see that there are far more scooters and bikes doing what they want than cars. Could you imagine if drivers did whatever they wanted at the rate that these bikes and scooters do? It would be an ACTUAL bloodbath and not this hyperbolic nonsense that some people get on this app and perpetuate.

@DirtyRon Classy blaming the victim when you have no idea what happened. Car drivers are pretty horrendous too around here, in case you haven’t noticed.
