According to an ABC 7 report citing police, the fall happened while a Target employee was escorting a 16-year-old boy out of the store. The two got into a struggle and bumped against the elevator doors, causing them to open, and they both plunged down the shaft. Firefighters at the scene advise they have removed the second person from the elevator shaft.
