According to an update from the NYPD, police responded to a 911 call of a man shot on Morris Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 14-year-old teenage boy with a gunshot wound to his torso. EMS responded and transported him to a local hospital for treatment, where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
Police have requested additional units to search nearby city hospitals for anyone who might have been shot.
