Name the most recent year the police budget hasn’t grown. We’ll wait

unionstreetbkNov 9 at 11:02 PM

Nobody defunded NYPD. Their budget is bigger than ever. $10.9 billion last year.

daeyespyNov 10 at 12:30 PM

Exactly the mayor and governor need to put people out to watch what these cops are doing.

Vegaf man- that’s not what we mean by defund the police…. Also what do you mean by democratic - what does that have to do with anything when someone fired close to police???

richardvictorNov 10 at 2:05 AM

@phro rising crime has nothing to do with bail reform. Convictions in criminal courts are up 50,000% from the 1980’s due to street cameras. Yet here you are saying that crime rates are rising. What’s “rising” is this: desperation. That is what “rises”. Criminals know they will be caught and they know they will be jailed. Yet they commit crimes anyway. That is the truth.
