@bagelmom93 I try to be considerate when I know a vehicle is waiting for me to pass. Some people just take their sweet time crossing in front of a vehicle waiting to turn, and it can be quite annoying, especially when that pedestrian is on the phone while crossing! I honk in that case as well.
A Fedex driver hit & killed an elderly woman, while she was crossing the street in Fresh Meadows a few months ago! At least that one stayed on the scene!
