I was speaking with someone near the scene and they said the window of the HVAC company was blown out all over the sidewalk last night, he saw it as he was waking by, and he said he heard that it was a shooting inside. I can’t confirm this, I’m just saying what I heard.
A message from DI Coleman, 104th Precinct: On Monday, September 5th, the 104 Precinct did respond to a shots fired incident at 65-31 Grand Ave (an HVAC supply shop). Upon arrival at location, 104th Precinct personnel met with the owner of the business. The front glass window was broken and he discovered unknown caliber rounds lodged into the drywall inside his store. The incident happened Sunday morning approximately 3:00 am. 7 bullet fragments were recovered in the store. No other stores were hit. No other property damage. Investigation is on going. All information is preliminary and subject to change
