Two Dead After Five-Alarm Fire Destroys Six Homes

Firefighters are continuing to search for any additional victims.
Firefighters have confirmed two people died in the fire.
Firefighters on scene advise that the attic of one of the houses collapsed. They advise that the search for injured or trapped people is still ongoing and additional units are en route to assist with searching.
Firefighters on scene advise that there were 13 firefighters who were injured in the fire and some who sustained more serious injuries were transported to an area hospital. They also advise that two people were found dead in the basement of the burned houses.

So the people saying that the FDNY took long!!! Please stfu. They were there within minutes of the smoke being reported. Shout out to the first responders for putting their lives on the line.

I can only imagine. It was extremely hard to come home and the apartment that I have spent my entire adult life in was destroyed, so many memories, I was just thankful that my family with exception of one of my fur-babies is alive and well.
