At around 1:30 p.m., firefighters responded to a report of a car crash near the corner of Clifton Avenue and Narrows Road.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an MTA Bridges and Tunnels Officer had overturned into a backyard and was injured.
Medics quickly transported him to an area hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
A shed and light pole were also damaged in the crash.
Crews are continuing to work to remove the car.
