According to a Tweet provided by the New York City Fire Department, firefighters have confirmed an apartment fire and all units on the scene are actively working to bring the situation under control.

Firefighters on the scene have advised the main body of fire has been extinguished. The primary search of the building has not been completed.

Firefighters on the scene advise that primary search is complete and that no one is injured or trapped in the apartment fire.

Police on the scene have advised one person sustained secondary burn injuries to the hand and has been treated by EMS.
