The person who was hit has unfortunately passed away. My condolences to the family.

I was there when it happened. I was on the uptown side though. It sounded like the metal trash cans i didn't think it was a person! Until i got to my stop and heard the announcement over the train stop saying someone was struck.
Do we know how he was hit? Did he jump or was pushed?
@afrankfort I've heard mta workers say they don't report when it is a suicidal attempt bc they don't want to "scare people"
