Stricter laws. Bring back stop and frisk. Should be min 10 year mandatory if you are caught with a gun that is not registered. 20 year min if you are using a gun in a violent act. That would solve the problem
I agree expect for the possession part that's unconstitutional. In most states they don't even register guns. Having a mandatory minimum for gun crimes should be a priority, especially since the Supreme Court has our gun laws on the chopping block.
