At around 4 a.m., police were patrolling near West 211th Street and 10th Avenue when they saw a group of men arguing outside of 11:11 Restaurant and Lounge.

Officers took cover and then returned fire, striking the gunman.
The suspect was transported to an area hospital and taken into surgery. His gun was recovered from the scene.
