Eight people were shot when two suspects opened fire on a gathering of people in Bedford–Stuyvesant early Monday.
Police said in a briefing that the shooting occurred at approximately 12:24 a.m. outside Eleanor Roosevelt Houses at 927 Dekalb Ave.
Between 100 and 150 people were gathered and listening to music when two suspects approached and fired into the crowd, officials said.
Three men and five women between the ages of 18 and 27 each were struck one time.
The victims were all transported to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Two rounds were also fired into apartments on Dekalb Avenue, but no one was struck.
Officers found ballistic evidence and a firearm at the scene.
No one has been arrested as detectives conduct their investigation.
