Bay Ridge has always had crime, safe haven ended in the 1960s
That park is full of homeless folks and men who can’t find work. They are drunk and high all the time. This is sad and upsetting but not shocking. Things have changed a lot in this area.
If Citizen didn’t exist, y’all wouldn’t know about 80% of these crimes. Crime isn’t up in NYC. It’s down. Your AWARENESS is up and is making you think things are worse. But it’s not.
