@brooklyn9891 so true, house hunting now. I can’t tell you how many houses have additions structural things done like adding another stair case and no CO which means no inspector signed off. I won’t even look at homes like that bc I don’t want to inherit someone else’s head ache. It’s a shame and dangerous

Those designs are not for cold climates especially in with snow during winter. They have changed the design of many houses in the area and some parts of the structures are not fully supported. Some of these new designs are for tropical climate where they are built that way, not added on after a redesign.
