Firefighters rescued three people from a fire that spread inside a five-story apartment building in Hell’s Kitchen early Wednesday morning. The rescued residents, along with three firefighters, suffered minor injuries.

Firefighters shortly after arriving on scene transmitted a second alarm to request additional units. In total, 25 units and 106 fire personnel were used to extinguish the fire.

At about 2:13 a.m., firefighters declared the fire under control.
