One Suspect Arrested, Another Remains at Large After Fourteen People Shot in Downtown Austin

Officers began to perform life-saving measures and first aid on multiple victims.
Medics were able to treat victims once police determined there was no active gunfire.
By 1:28 a.m., police worked to find witnesses and ensure the safety of the people remaining in the area.
In total, 13 gunshot victims were located at the scene.
Police transported six victims to area hospitals and EMS personnel transported four victims. The remaining three victims arrived at area hospitals in private vehicles.
One victim with multiple gunshot wounds was reportedly taken to an urgent care clinic.
Chacon stated that 11 victims are in stable condition and two are in critical condition.
No fatalities have been reported as of Saturday morning.
During a preliminary investigation, police obtained footage depicting a possible suspect, but they are unsure if there are additional suspects involved in the shooting.
