Sixteen Injured After MTA Bus Crash Into Building

Firefighters responded to the scene at Lincoln Road and Bedford Avenue just before 2 p.m.

According to FDNY Deputy Chief James Smithwick, 16 people were injured in total. Of the injured, 13 people were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
Smithwick said the injuries ranged from minor to moderate. There were no life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash.

The NYC Department of Buildings sent inspectors and engineers to the location to conduct structural stability inspections, according to a department spokesperson.
