A 10-year-old boy was killed and an adult man was injured in a Far Rockaway shooting Saturday night, police say.
At 9:33 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting near 342 Beach 45 Street.
Upon arrival, officers located an unconscious 10-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the torso and a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
EMS personnel transported both victims to area hospitals, where the 10-year-old was pronounced dead.
The man was last reported to be in stable condition.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
