Man Fatally Shot in Back Found in Range Rover in Astoria

Summary
A 22-year-old man was fatally shot in Astoria Sunday night, police confirmed.
At approximately 10 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call of a man shot on the corner of 41st Street and 30th Avenue, near the restaurant Comfortland.
When officers arrived, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the back, sitting in the driver’s seat of a late model Range Rover.
EMS responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police have made no arrests and the investigation remains open.
