A 17-year-old was fatally stabbed Saturday afternoon in Washington Heights, police say.
At 2:09 p.m. police and EMS responded to West 181st Street and Saint Nicholas Avenue for a report of a man assaulted.
Upon arrival, medics were flagged down by a 17-year-old boy with a stab wound to the torso.
He was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead, according to NYPD officials.
No suspects are in custody and an investigation is ongoing.

Maybe 34th precinct and the mayor can care a little more about this area of town, the drug dealers, rampant car drags and motorcycle noise is out of control
@mdci The 34 frequently protect the mostly white area oh Hudson Heights especially Pinehurst and Bennet. They have manned cars parked there permanently. So yes race does dictate where NYPD especially the 34 will serve. FYI the police can legally refuse service to assist! It’s happened to me .
During broad daylight, on a Saturday and a busy street, wow. This is scary and it’s not even summer yet. Praying for the victim. 🙏🙏
