A deceased woman was discovered in the trunk of a car in Wakefield Wednesday morning, officials said.
Just before 10 a.m., police were called to the corner of Lefferts Boulevard and 150th Avenue following reports of an unconscious woman in a vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 26-year-old woman in the trunk of the car.
EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the woman deceased.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
