This station has always, for years and years, been one of the most awful stations (open crack smoking, feces everywhere, violence, etc)— why exactly isn’t this station policed better?

Well surprisingly guess what’s above the station. Drug dealers, drug users, alcoholics and everything else we don’t want to see. They always make their way into station and harass and hurt innocent people. If they are going to clean it out of all these dirty criminals Start from above ground. Right there by the chicken spot, and the liquor store . 👍👍👍👍

The whole subway system is extremely dangerous these days. Every day I see guys roaming the subways looking for targets.

This station is the worst. They smoke crack. Weed K2 right out in the open. They need permanent police there. Awful place
I actually had to "social distance " myself from certain people in this station one time while waiting for a 2 train. And this was in 2018.
