Fucking garbage truck drivers drive too fast always and they don't give a fuck about pedestrians. A disgrace!
Live feed shows he was turning and she was most likely in his blind spot. Wasn't speeding, but turned without observing crosswalk fully
What people have to stop doing is assuming that the driver of a vehicle will stop. How come they can't wait until the vehicle passes?
Don't even get me started on bike lanes, which are an embarrassment to this city.
AND the signals don’t all line up with the crosswalks. Just last night I had to search for the signal to walk and it was facing away from the crosswalk .
Condolences to the woman’s family . They need to out loud voice signals at the crosswalks I live here ans when I walk through TS I can be distracted by the action - lights - sounds cars zooming by - delivery guys on bikes going every which way - characters in costumes accosting you . - it can be over stimulating.
