Seventeen firefighters were injured in a four-alarm blaze in South Harlem Saturday morning, officials say.
According to officials, at around 7:29 a.m. firefighters responded to 357 W. 115th Street for a report of smoke from a building.
Firefighters determined that the fire was on the first floor of a 6 story apartment building.
The fire extended to the second floor shortly after firefighters arrived.
It took 168 firefighters almost three full hours to place the fire under control.
It is currently unknown how many people were displaced.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
