According to NYPD officials, a USPS employee left their truck to deliver packages near Fulton Street and Patchen Avenue at 6 p.m. when a 21-year-old woman entered the vehicle and drove eastbound on Fulton Street.
The USPS employee ran after the truck for two blocks before flagging down police in the area and riding in the car with them as they followed the vehicle.
The suspect drove less than one mile before coming to a stop at 1509 Fulton Street.
In that span of time, she crashed into 14 vehicles and injured three civilians.
