Man Pushed Onto Tracks at Times Square

Summary

A man was pushed onto the tracks of the southbound (N) train at Times Square Thursday evening, but regained his footing and climbed back onto the platform without injury.

At approximately 8:25 p.m., Transit Police received a report that a man in a black bubble jacket and gray sweatpants pushed a person in front of an incoming (N) train at Times Square--42nd Street Station.

Police and medics rushed to the southbound (N) train platform, where they ascertained that the victim had landed on his feet and climbed back onto the platform without injury, right before the train pulled into the station.

User video shows an emergency response team gathering in front of the train station.

According to the NYPD, the suspect is still outstanding. No arrests have been made.
