Man Killed in Queens Village Stabbing, Three Critically Injured by Unknown Means, Suspect in Custody

Early Thursday morning police responded to 220-20 Hempstead Avenue where they found a 72-year-old man with an apparent stab wound to the torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 31-year-old man, a 29-year-old woman and a 70-year-old woman were all found unconscious and unresponsive with no apparent injuries.
They were taken to a nearby hospital where they were listed in critical condition.
A 30-year-old man was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment for what the FDNY referred to as a minor injury.
He is currently in police custody.
The victims and the man who is in custody are reportedly related to one another.
Police say that the man told officers "I stabbed my father" before he was taken into custody.
A pair of scissors were recovered from the scene.
