A seven-alarm fire ripped through a commercial building in Flushing early Saturday morning leaving seven firefighters injured, officials say.
According to the FDNY, at around 11:50 p.m. Friday firefighters responded to 136-15 37 Avenue for a report of a fire in a three-story commercial building.
User footage showed firefighters battling the blaze long into the night.
Over 200 firefighters responded to the scene.
By 8:50 a.m. firefighters had placed the fire under control, but not before it spread to an adjacent building and left seven firefighters with minor injuries.
They were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
A collapse zone has been established.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
