Summary

Police arrested three people in Jamaica, Queens, after a man apparently shot a gun from a balcony.

At about 9:24 a.m., officers responded to a ShotSpotter device detecting possible gunfire in the area of 167th Street and 110th Avenue.

Soon after arriving on scene, officers learned that a man stepped out onto a balcony of an apartment on 175th Street, fired shots, and returned inside.

The suspect refused to come out of the apartment. NYPD’s Emergency Service Unit responded with an armored BearCat vehicle, used for tactical operations in hostile situations. At approximately 11:20 a.m., officers requested the Hostage Negotiate Team and Technical Assistance Response Unit.

About 20 minutes later, police advised they arrested three suspects. Officers proceeded to collect shell casings from the balcony.

The NYPD conducted a hospital canvass for any gunshot victims. There are no reports of anyone injured.

@justsaynoah who was raiding , and rioting, and burning in Seattle and Portland all summer? Misunderstood youth right? Those “occupations “ were never called riots by Biden or any other Democrat, much less being compared to sedition or insurrection . Which they most definitely were.
