That neighborhood is so shitty. infested with crime and drugs and so many shelters. Then they have the nerve to build a luxury building in the middle of it all. Them roaches and rats are out there 24 7...
That area is always hot after the sun goes down. You have homeless people and drug dealers who hang out under the scaffolding. Why it’s still there with no construction going on is anyone’s guess. The 103PCT needs to sweep the area clean. Ever since that BBQ opened the area has gone downhill.
They need to close the shelter section of the YMCA. Also, that need to remove that scaffolding on Parsons by the Y and the one on 90th.
Can confirm, I live in that area. The gunshot was loud af bouncing off all the buildings with its echo. No surprise it’s that spot, though: lots of bums and unsavory types hang out on the steps next to BBQs.
