Police said that at approximately 1 p.m., specialized units from the Strategic Response Group unit responded to a large group of protesters at W 24th Street and 10th Avenue.
According to the NYPD, 11 protesters refused to comply with orders and disperse and were arrested.
Five individuals were issued criminal court summonses and released, and four people were issued desk appearance tickets and released. Two others two were taken to Manhattan Central Booking for unknown charges.
