This happened just outside my apt. I heard 5+ shots and looked out the window to see a mother with a stroller and a young child running the opposite direction. They were probably 200 ft away from the shots. What if one of those children or their mother were innocently killed over NOTHING? THIS NEEDS TO STOP. ENOUGH WITH THE GUNS

@rireduresss “enough with the guns” Guns aren’t the issue here, “take away” the guns and guess who’s still gonna have guns? Criminals. We already have no 2A rights here so the only ones doing this are criminals

@mfrat0805 I know they’re targeted but I still feel like the kids shouldn’t be raised around this environment. My heart still goes out to them cuz they’re young. They’re not going to get a chance to change their minds and what not. I really hope they stop. This is just crazy they’re killing each other over a corner that doesn’t and will never belong to them. Next week they’re replaced by the next guy. All they get is candles and a pic for maybe a month. May God protect them

@nina56 you’re absolutely right.

Inwood needs its own precinct right on Post Ave. 34th can’t handle crime prevention here anymore.

Monica702fOct 15 at 11:33 AM

Yup. I think they should create a 35th precinct for Inwood. The 34th is completely overwhelmed.

elsa34Oct 14 at 5:04 PM

Well time to move. Unfortunately it’s not safe to raise our kids in this neighborhood. Just look at the time. May God protect everyone cuz regardless of anything I feel bad for them but damn shit is bad just get a job. It’s not worth your life
