7-Year-Old Girl Fatally Struck by Armored Truck

According to the NYPD, the armored truck was traveling south on Bay 23rd Street—approaching the intersection of Bath Avenue—when the driver struck the victim, who was on a scooter and crossing Bay 23rd Street from west to east.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead. She was later identified as Sama Ali, 7, of Brooklyn.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. The NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad (CIS) is reviewing the incident.

How many of us have ever witnessed children running/riding ahead of their parents? I don’t believe this was intended and sorry it happened. Instead of negative comments and blame calling, let’s uplift the parents by keeping them in your constant prayers. SIP PRINCESS
