FRIDAY: 4:53 PM: NYPD responded to a report of a shooting at 272 6th Ave. Upon arrival, police discovered a man with a gunshot wound to the head. A spokesperson for the NYPD states that the victim, a man in his twenties, was approached by an unknown man while sitting in his car. After a dispute, the unknown man revealed a firearm and shot the sitting man in the head. EMS transported the man to an area hospital where he is in critical condition. Police believe the man will succumb to his injuries. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
Police are now investigating this as a homicide.
