THURSDAY, 2:30 PM: Police and firefighters responded to a report of a scaffolding collapse at 535 Grand St. When they arrived, firefighters determined a large portion of scaffolding fell off of a building under construction. Debris landed on a building nearby. According to the fire department, three construction workers were transported to a local hospital for minor injuries. The NYC Department of Buildings is investigating the incident.
