Two Men Stabbed, One in Critical Condition

At approximately 5:20 p.m., Sunday, Citizen reported that a man was stabbed in the neck near Bay 7th St & Benson Ave. A 911 caller reported that the suspect had reportedly fled the scene in a vehicle. Soon after, police received a report that a man had been shot in the same area. This report turned out to be unfounded, but police arriving at the scene found two victims, a 42-year-old man with a stab wound to the neck, and a 43-year-old who was stabbed in the leg. Both victims were transported to nearby hospitals, where the 42-year-old was listed in critical condition. The 42-year-old was in stable condition. Police took someone in for questioning, but so far there have been no arrests. Citizen user video captured at a distance showed police activity at the scene.
