Kidnapping Victim and Suspect Located After Extensive Search, Firearm Recovered

According to officials, at approximately 6:50 a.m. Friday, police responded to a report of a suspicious circumstance at 1162 Manzanita Drive. Shortly after, Citizen reported that officers were investigating a possible shooting. Officers found a vehicle with a shattered window and believed that a suspect may have fled the scene in another vehicle. Police then received a report that a man may have forced a woman into a silver car, using a firearm in the process. A countywide be-on-the-lookout was issued, and by 8:00 a.m., Brisbane police reported that they had visuals on the vehicle. At 8:44 a.m. Pacifica Police reported that the suspect had been taken into custody and that the victim had been located. The woman was unharmed, and officers recovered a firearm.
