Two teenagers were injured in a shooting on the Upper West Side early Sunday morning, police say. 

At 2 a.m. an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were walking near West 104th Street and  Amsterdam Avenue when a white car approached. 

NYPD officials said a man exited the car and fired shots, striking both teenagers before getting back in the vehicle and fleeing the scene. 

The 18-year-old was shot in the back and the 17-year-old was shot in the back and armpit. 

EMS personnel transported the victims to an area hospital, where they are both expected to survive their injuries.

No suspects are in custody and an investigation is ongoing.

Police have received an unconfirmed report of a man who may have been shot.

The address reported for this incident has changed to W 103rd St & Amsterdam Ave.

Police on scene confirm that a man was shot and have requested additional units to the scene to assist.

Officers have not advised on the extent of the injuries or the man's condition. Further, police have provided no suspect description.

Police update that they have located a second man with gunshot wounds in relation to this incident. Officers have not advised on either man's condition.
