A woman struck 14 vehicles and injured three people after stealing a postal truck in Bedford-Stuyvesant on Friday night, police say. 

According to NYPD officials, a USPS employee left their truck to deliver packages near Fulton Street and Patchen Avenue at 6 p.m. when a 21-year-old woman entered the vehicle and drove eastbound on Fulton Street. 

The USPS employee ran after the truck for two blocks before flagging down police in the area and riding in the car with them as they followed the vehicle. 

The suspect drove less than one mile before coming to a stop at 1509 Fulton Street.

In that span of time, she crashed into 14 vehicles and injured three civilians.

Police, however, did not confirm this in a preliminary statement. 

An NYPD official told Citizen the suspect fled the vehicle on foot when police approached. 

She was quickly placed into custody and now faces numerous charges, including burglary, grand larceny of a vehicle, reckless endangerment, and unlicensed use of a vehicle. 

Of those injured, two refused medical assistance and one was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
