Five Injured During Crane Collapse in Inwood

A crane has reportedly collapsed onto a building and fallen to street level. Emergency services are responding to the scene.

A 911 caller has reported an unconfirmed incident at 3880 9th Ave.

Police arrived at the scene and confirmed there is a crane collapse. However, no one is trapped or injured.

Firefighters advise the hydraulic frame collapsed at the site. No one is trapped, but two workers have been injured.

EMS units advise that five people have been injured after the collapse. Three sustained serious injuries, while two others sustained minor injuries.

Police advise that the injured workers sustained a variety of leg and arm injuries.
