One Man Killed in Midnight Double Shooting at Deli

Incident reported at 4702 White Plains Rd.

ShotSpotter technology has detected possible gunfire. ShotSpotter devices pick up gunshots or similar loud noises, such as fireworks or backfiring vehicles.

A 911 caller reports that a man was shot.

Officers confirm a man was shot. EMS personnel have been requested to the scene.

The address reported for this incident has changed to E 241st St & White Plains Rd.

Additional police units have been requested to assist in a suspect search.

Officers are searching for two male suspects.

One suspect may have fled northbound on White Plains Road on a moped, according to police.

A 24-year-old man was shot in the stomach at a deli just before midnight and later died at the hospital, according to police. 

A 42-year-old man was also shot in his right leg. Medics took him to the hospital, where he is in stable condition. 

No arrests were made. The investigation is ongoing.
