Man Struck by Car While Fleeing Gunshots

Police have received a 911 report of a man shot.

Police on the scene confirmed gunshots were fired. Officers report that a man was struck by a vehicle while attempting to escape during the gunshots.

The address reported for this incident has changed to 119 Remsen Ave.

Police report the injury of the victim is not life-threatening.

Police have recovered gunfire evidence at the scene and have requested a citywide hospital canvass for possible shot victims.

Police are requesting Emergency Service Unit (ESU) for assistance.

A man was struck by a vehicle while running from gunshots fired near a house party at around 2:50 a.m., police say, as reported by local news outlets. 

The driver of the vehicle that hit the man was possibly also fleeing the gunfire, according to police. 

Medics transported the man who was hit by the car to the hospital in stable condition. He sustained a broken leg and rib. 

No arrests were made.
