Shooting Investigation Near Jefferson Square Park

Incident reported at Laguna St & Eddy St.

Police are responding to a 911 caller's report of shots fired.

The address reported for this incident has changed to 616 Larch Way.

A further 911 report advises two people are shot at the updated address. Three male suspects were reportedly seen running toward the dog park after the gunfire.

Police have secured the scene for medics. Firefighters are on the scene.

Officers have requested additional units to assist with crowd control at the scene.

Officers advise a suspect vehicle is a gray Honda CR-V with an unknown license plate.

Officers have further advised the Honda CR-V has a CA license plate of 8CEC613 and was last seen heading westbound on Turk Street.

Medics are transporting two injured people from the scene to a nearby hospital for treatment. The nature of the injuries is not yet clear.

Police have closed down the whole 600 block of Larch Way and have established a crime scene to conduct further investigation.

Police advise the suspects are three men who were last seen running through Jefferson Square Park from Larch Way.
